Day 2 Wednesday 16 Sept 2015

On the road again.  This is eastern New Mexico.  Some nice territory here.  Lots of mesas and whatnot.

I was driving in the mountains getting close to Taos, NM and I got really sleepy.  That's not good.  So I stopped at this little spot in the road and took an hour snooze.  I didn't go to sleep but the dozing sure helped a lot.  This was in Cimmarron Valley.  I drove on in to Taos after this little rest.

The mountains here are very pretty.  There is some rock embedded in the mountains here and there, but not like the northern Rockies.
